Launching "Strategic Simplicity"

What is “Strategic Simplicity”…?
In short, Vipin and I hope to keep pace with whirlwind developments in the international security realm, with a focus on producing mostly jargon-free, conversational-level analysis (including hot takes) on strategic affairs issues that emerge in the world during the Trump Administration.
Our posts will vary in word count and complexity, but our goal is to stimulate a healthy discourse on nuclear deterrence, missile defense, space policy, arms control, nonproliferation, and anything that impacts these areas in the geopolitical arena. We will host guest posts as well, and I will try to find a way to develop other interesting formats, including capturing debates or conversations we have as we try not to get sick of each other at MIT this year.
Being new to Substack, I’m sure we will demonstrate our technical incompetence regularly. But I promise we will try to break up our writing with figures, asides, humor, and pictures. And I will even endeavor not to abuse Substack’s convenient stock photo feature:
We aren’t doing this to feed ourselves or our families, and don’t have plans to pester subscribers or limit access to any of our material behind a paywall.
